More Community Service at The Social

First off, we’d like to give a special shout-out to anyone who participated in the Front Line Foundation’s 2021 Remembering 9.11 Golf Tournament last month. If you did participate, or are planning to play next year, then you know how important giving back is to Mike and The Social.

This month, we wanted to give you an update on recent community events and a heads up on upcoming events so you can get involved (and plan your end-of-year giving, too!).

Front Line Foundation

Last month, the Front Line Foundation held its annual Remembering 9.11 Golf Tournament at The Royal Club in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. The event, captured in photos by the talented Tim Olson of Tmor Photography, benefited the Front Line Foundation and the first responders the organization serves.

As you likely already know, Mike has been an active volunteer for the Front Line Foundation for years and is a current board member. He serves on the development and marketing committees for the organization, so if you’re interested in donating or serving, talk to Mike!

The Front Line Foundation supports the families of law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS, and National Guard members who have fallen in the line of duty. It also provides scholarships for aspiring front line personnel and funds preparedness training for safety officers who serve in churches, schools, and hospitals. Get involved or make a donation at thefrontlinemn.org.

The Lions Club of Rogers

If you’re looking for some holiday cheer and delicious pancakes, then you won’t want to miss Breakfast with Santa in early December. It’s put on by the Lions Club of Rogers, and free-will donations support the Lions Club’s philanthropic efforts. The word on the street is that Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be on the scene and ready for photos with your little ones!

The Lions Club of Rogers is one of the area’s most active clubs. In addition to Breakfast with Santa, it hosts Rockin Rogers Days, an annual golf tournament, and many monthly events. It also provides scholarships for local students.

Join Mike, a Lion himself, at Breakfast with Santa or an upcoming community shindig! Learn more at rogersmnlions.org.
